Evolution of some popular websites through the years

Let's start with Google. Google's logo has been almost the same for the last 10 years. Initially there was an exclamation mark (!) at the end but it was dropped sometime during the later part of 1999.

Another most visited site is Yahoo! which was launched in 1995. Yahoo!'s website haven't changed much as far as graphics and logos are concerned. The only thing they have been doing is  juggling with the number of news columns on the site.

Hotmail, now called Windows Live, was one of the first webmail services on the Internet. It was launched in July 1996 and currently has more than 8.5 million subscribers. Hotmail's logo has seen a number of changes throughout the years.

Wikipedia, the free online encyclopaedia is the 9th most visted website of the Internet, according to Alexa. Launched in 2001, it's relatively new compared to other websites.
