Add "ScreenTabs" on your screen with Stick

Stick is a cool little application that add tabs to the edge of your screen, which when clicked launches tools like notes, calendar, RSS feeds, explorer etc. Stick is highly customizable and can be placed on any edge of the screen - on the top, on the sides or at the bottom. Tabs can be added for 6 types of application:

- Explorer that shows the content of any particular drive or folder. These explorer windows provide true explorer context menus for folders and files as well as full drag/drop support.

- Note tabs, that are small text files with options for formatting like bold, italics, font change, list etc. It can be used as a mini word processor.

- A calendar

- An RSS reader

- A calculator

- A browser that runs on Internet Explorer

Stick also a has a quick launcher. Hit the Windows key and spacebar (combination can be changed) and it will launch the quick launcher. Type the name of the application and it will display a list even before you finish typing it. Select the application and then launch it. You can configure the the quick launcher to index the drive or folders where you applications are installed.

Since the tabs occupies such a small strip of space you can configure it to stay on top of all windows, so that these tools are always visible and accessible on one click. The only drawback of this application is the inability to add custom application to the tabs. Otherwise it would have made this program brilliant. It's still quite useful, nonetheless, particularly the explorer tabs. I can add any number of tabs to quickly open my favorite folders. This is certainly a must have tool.
