Go-OO - The office suite based on OpenOffice
Go-OO is a free open source office suite based on the popular open source product OpenOffice.Org. Work on Go-OO was started last year with the purpose of including new features and fixes that do not get easily integrated in the OO.o-build. Go-OO offers several improvements over OpenOffice like support for:
- OpenXML, .DOCX, XLSX, PPTX files
- SVG graphics
- Microsoft Works files, Excel VBA macros, Visio diagrams
- Word Perfect Graphics.
Go-OO has better Microsoft binary file support compared to OpenOffice. It also loads faster and uses less memory than OpenOffice.
