Learn to make attractive paper models with Paper Folding 3D
Making models with paper was something we all used to do and enjoy as a kid. Paper folding is quite an art and most of us didn't get any far than the paper boat and the paper plane. But there are hundreds of different objects that you can make by folding paper, without using a scissor or glue. The art of paper folding dates back to the 6th century in China. During the same century it was carried to Japan where it began to be know as Origami. It was only during the 1960's the art of origami began to spread out. Origami is now an international art and there are dozens of websites dedicated to it.
The happened to stumble upon a software called Paper Folding 3D. Paper Folding 3D teaches you this art of Origami from a 3 dimensional view. Before I proceed any further let me tell you that this software is not free but it is cheap, and it has a limited functionality demo version. Paper Folding 3D shows each step of the paper folding process in an animation which you can view from any direction. The camera can be rotated in any direction you want and can be zoomed in and out in a true 3D fashion. The program also offers many textures which make the model more interesting. You can print out these specially prepared textures and use them to make beautiful models.
The program has 130 different models of birds, animals and miscellaneous objects and over 180 different textures. The demo version however has only 12 models. The rest of the models can be unlocked by paying USD 18.
