Google Calendar Client for Windows

Google Calendar Client for Windows is a small, portable applications for Windows that can retrieve events from multiple Google Calendars, and display them on the user's desktop. The client is read only, meaning you can only retrieve data and events from your Google calendar, you cannot make updates with this application.

You can add calendars to the client by entering the public XML URL of your Google Calendar, and import data from both past and coming days from the calendar. For
instance in the ‘Preference’ window setting 10 days before and 30 days after would retrieve events from 10 days in the past to 30 days in the future. Once the information is retrieved, it is saved in memory and an internet connection is not needed until you want to refresh the data.

Google Calendar Client features a popup event reminders, useful for people who tend to forget important appointments. The ability to export individual events to Microsoft Outlook or to any vCalendar compliant application is another useful feature. An option to save calendars for offline use is there in the Preferences but not yet implemented.
