An old typewriter converted into a USB keyboard

If there is an example of how to revive technologies of yesteryears to a high tech device of today's, this is it. The author of Grafz.net has successfully converted an old typewriter Smith Corona of the 1940s to a USB keyboard and connected it to a ThinkPad X40 laptop. If only this was for sale, it would have made a nice Christmas gift for grandpa.
