I love simple games. Games that are short and easy to play yet throw in enough challenges to make it engrossing and entertaining at the same time. The “Dismantling” game series is right up my alley.
In this game you are given an object and you have to dismantle it using only a screwdriver. This might sound familiar to some - I wrote about the first game of the series when it was released last year.
The first game involved a radio which you had to take apart using nothing but a simple screwdriver. It is a puzzle game where you have to figure out which parts to take apart and in what order. Along the way lies simple logic, math and word puzzles to solve and codes to break.
The game became very popular. Since then, 5 more dismantling games has been released – each involving a different object: a hard disk, a fan, a mouse, an alarm clock and a tea caddy. The goal remains the same.
Dismantlement is a Japanese game but you don’t need to know Japanese to play. If you find yourself stuck at any point, you can use the following walkthroughs.

- Dismantling No.3 (Mouse) - walkthrough
- Dismantling No.4 (Alarm clock) - walkthrough

Now if you will excuse me, I have a hard disk to dismantle.
