  1. Sounds also great for gamers... if one is picky about system resources and or particular settings.
What I mean to say is... I'll give it a shot as a gamer.
    Thanks for the tip.

  2. me again...
downloaded and loaded the portable application on Win XP SP3, latest updates, plenty of RAM, almost vanilla setup BUT the program said I use IE not FireFox -- it found my ThunderBird, though -- and froze memorably my computer while looking down to check the other options.
It was a QuickSwitch all right, but to the RED button. I don't want any hanky panky business which I can't see nor control on my machine.
So, gamer or not, business or not, this program is not for me nor am I incline to try to understand what happened.
    Good luck, guys.

  3. I didn't have any problems with it. And you can review every setting before you go for the button. I tested it on Windows 7 though.

  4. That is a seriously good idea.....I can think of many good applications for this.

You could truly tweak it as a power user for zillions of things (registry changes? wow. hosts file? awesome.....)

in fact: in the end it's kind of just like having another user account in windows, no? unless certain settings can't be different across windows users (some networks ones I would imagine), in which case this is indeed superior (or maybe one can use both to complete the picture)...

How to Record CPU and Memory Usage Over Time in Windows?

Whenever the computer is lagging or some application is taking too long to respond, we usually fire up task manager and look under the Performance tab or under Processes to check on processor utilization or the amount of free memory available. The task manager is ideal for real-time analysis of CPU and memory utilization. It even displays a short history of CPU utilization in the form of a graph. You get a small time-window, about 30 seconds or so, depending on how large the viewing area is.
