GetJar Offers 100+ Premium Android Apps for Free [Time Limited]

GetJar, an alternative market for Android apps, is offering more than a hundreds paid Android apps for free during this Christmas season. You probably still remember Google’s celebration of 10 billion downloads where the company slashed prices of about a 100 apps to a dime for 10 days. GetJar has bettered Google’s deal by slashing prices all the way down to zero. And these aren’t your average apps. GetJar has included some high quality titles like Beautiful Widgets, Smart Office, Splashtop Remote Desktop, Fruit Ninja HD, Age of Zombies, and Farm Frenzy, to name a few.

GetJar’s Christmas celebration isn’t really a one-off event. The market regularly gives away dozens of paid apps for free every week through their ‘Gold’ section.

To install apps from GetJar, you have to install the GetJar app first. Using your Android device, head to http://m.getjar.com and you will be prompted to download the GetJar apk. After you have installed the app go to the Apps > Gold section to see premium apps and games available for free.

Make sure that you have Unknown Source checked in your Settings > Applications menu otherwise you won’t be able to the install apps.

GetJar hasn’t mentioned how long this will last, so get to downloading these apps before they disappear.

  1. help please! i did everything this post said to download apps on the gold gatalogue but it just dont work it begin to connect when i click the download box in yellow but it stop there and nothing happen! can you help me please i want smart office plus so bad!

    p.s: the free apps work fine i can download them easily!
