Recent items shows me all the folders I have opened recently, along with the documents I have opened recently. I don't need all the other items, just documents.

RANT: It is too bad Windows 8 got rid of so much functionality I was familiar with. They basically want us to do a search to find everything that was on the Start Menu in Windows 7, which they did away with.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4055995847918022147.post-28468391206227913172015-03-05T17:38:55.471+05:302015-03-05T17:38:55.471+05:30Works well with my Windows 8.1 64bit. Also spend the time to delete all the junk out of the start screen and you can make it as familiar as the old start button.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4055995847918022147.post-85191724034037046362013-11-12T04:15:03.912+05:302013-11-12T04:15:03.912+05:30windows 8 - START PAGE - type "recent documen...windows 8 - START PAGE - type "recent documents" - and there we go!!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4055995847918022147.post-47661877935401474482013-10-02T18:43:16.070+05:302013-10-02T18:43:16.070+05:30I AM READY TO GO BACK TO XP. I have no idea why some users have the recent folder in their user directory and some don't, but everyone seems to have one in appdata - would be nice if there were more references to it as the definitive location instead of users/recent.agnieszkahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01013886950887317666noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4055995847918022147.post-30295939704625646392012-12-13T16:39:59.570+05:302012-12-13T16:39:59.570+05:30Please verify whether the folder C:/Users/Username...Please verify whether the folder C:/Users/Username/Recent exist.Kaushik Patowaryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15000427721236718033noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4055995847918022147.post-19891057735022692842012-12-13T15:30:36.568+05:302012-12-13T15:30:36.568+05:30Yep,I get the same messageYep,I get the same messageAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4055995847918022147.post-33376124736225150952012-11-30T16:09:04.288+05:302012-11-30T16:09:04.288+05:30Nonsense!
