Image Editing Suite Chasys Draw IES Goes Freeware

Everybody needs some form of image editing or the other. Some are satisfied with Microsoft Paint, others go for Paint.Net, GIMP and the millions or so alternative image editor and painting program that is currently available. One such program that you might like to try, since it was made completely free with the latest release, is Chasys Draw IES.

Chasys Draw IES is a suite of application geared towards image editing and consist of four components - a layer-based raster graphics editor with animation (Chasys Draw Artist), an image viewer (Chasys Draw Viewer), a multi-threaded image file converter (Chasys Draw IES Converter) and a tool for processing RAW digital camera image files (Chasys Draw raw-Photo).

Chasys Draw Artist is a fully functional image editor, with a powerful set of features. It supports a large number of brushes, alpha-channel transparency, textures, image filters and even external plug-ins. Chasys Draw IES Artist can do simple animations, and save the output as GIF or AVI files.

Chasys Draw IES Artist also supports basic image-stacking, allowing you to eliminate moving objects, perform noise reduction, and other effects such as multi-frame super-resolution. Heuristics-based super-resolution is also included to assist with those tiny line-drawings, cartoons and charts.
