gDoc Creator – Free PDF, XPS, Word converter

gDoc Creator is a free software that can perform a number of document format conversions such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents to PDF and XPS, and also convert PDF documents to Word. Unlike most PDF creators that install itself as virtual printer and perform simple PDF conversion, gDoc Creator offers a number of advanced features akin to commercial PDF creation tools including encryption, image compression, batch conversion etc.

gDoc Creator installs right inside MS Office 2003/2007 ribbon allowing one to convert Microsoft Office document (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) to PDF or XPS in a single click. What’s more? It can convert PDF files back to Word, which comes handy when you want to edit a PDF file.

gDoc Creator is free but the installer comes bundled with gDoc Fusion trial, which is a document viewer and editor with more features. This makes the installer size a mammoth 120 MB. Other than that, gDoc Creator does a pretty decent job in document conversion and if you are looking for more control over the conversion process other than simple “virtual printer conversion”, you should love this software.

    Sounds great! I like free trial pdf to word converter software very much. But there's a problem. Because of my job, I often need to convert PDF to Word, and I have used some freeware, but it hardly meet my needs. http://www.nemopdf.com/how_to_use/pdf_to_word.html
