Free Amazon Prime account for US students

Being a student is advantageous these days, at least in the United States. There are enticing student discounts from Microsoft for various products – Windows 7, Office, Technet subscriptions, free products through DreamSpark and so on. And now comes an offer from Amazon.

Amazon launched a new program for college students called "Amazon Students," that offers a free one-year subscription to its premium Amazon Prime service, which normally costs $79 a year. The program also includes an exclusive FREE Two-Day Shipping for full one year well as email alerts for exclusive promotions.

The Amazon prime service members get exclusive discounts on a variety of products and categories. Discounts and promotions will be emailed to student members or made available on the Amazon Student membership page.

Only students currently enrolled in an US college or university who have a valid .edu email address are eligible to participate in Amazon Student.
