HeyDoc!is a free software that lets you keep track of your personal medical history and records on your computer in a way that is both easy to lookup and retrieve. HeyDoc! provides an easy way for you to store and present all kinds of health information of you and your family. Even though the program is suited for personal and private recordkeeping, it can also be used to keep track of medical records of employees of a company or patients in a clinic, and so on.
HeyDoc! doesn’t do any thing special, it’s a simple but well organized record keeper. The left sidebar on the application’s program window enlists the various types of record the program can keep. Clicking on a record type displays its content on the main window. These records are neatly categorized under two primary headings – Personal information and Medical information.
Under Personal information, you can store the patients bio including name, address, phone numbers as well as health insurance records. You also record his or her past medical history and known medical conditions. There are also provisions to attach scanned copies of prescriptions and reports, and files such as DOC and PDF.
There is a section to keep address and phone numbers of multiple doctors, and the patient’s appointments with them. There is another section to keep emergency contact numbers within reach. The Personal information area also includes a diet dairy where you can record and monitor what you eat and the number of calories you consume. These records can be sorted and viewed by date and average calorie intake per day calculated.
Under Medical information, you can record prescriptions from doctors, medicines the patient is currently taking and their schedule, eye examination reports, immunization records and medical research data.
Additionally, HeyDoc! gives access to charts using which you can track progress of the individual’s certain medical conditions such as cholesterol level, blood pressure, weight, menstrual cycle, children growth (height/weight) etc.
HeyDoc! also provides printable templates to print all or any of these information on paper.
HeyDoc! is a good solution for those who are looking for ways to migrate their medical records from paper to the computer without chaos taking over. It is simple but effective and perfect for individuals and families.
This would be a very useful to the family PC but it crashes every time I open it or try and create a profile to use it. Can anyone help get it to run a 64-bit Windows 7 ultra home edition PC? TIA
