Google Launches Delicious Bookmark Importer

Last December rumors about an impending doom for popular bookmark service Delicious over a leaked document from Yahoo quarters began spreading the blogosphere. Soon competing bookmark services and even new startups began promoting their own Delicious bookmarks importer. Later Yahoo assured that Delicious was not going to be shut down, just merely changed hands.

Recently, Google unveiled their own Delicious to Google bookmarks importer. Supply your Delicious login credentials or login through your Yahoo account, if you have linked your Delicious account to Yahoo, and import all or selected bookmarks, preserving labels and tags.

With other Google apps such as Reader, Gmail and Docs, having your Delicious bookmarks on Google sounds sensible.
