Find Who’s Connected to Your Wi-Fi Network With Wireless Network Watcher

The first line of defense for your Wi-Fi network is encryption, which encodes the data transmitted between your PC and your wireless router. This is necessary to prevent other users from connecting to your network and taking a free ride at your expense. The more serious issue is securing your communication from hackers and trouble makers in general.

Wireless Network Watcher is a small utility that scans your wireless network and displays the list of all computers and devices that are currently connected to your network, allowing it to easily find out who is connected to your network. For each connected device, the program displays the IP address, MAC address, the company that manufactured the network card, and optionally the computer name. This information can exported to different formats such as HTML, XML, CSV and text file, the list copied to the clipboard for pasting into Excel or other spreadsheet application.

Wireless Network Watcher doesn't require any installation. In order to start using it, simply extract the executable file from the zip file, and run it. Of course, the utility can only scan a wireless network that you're currently connected to. It cannot scan other wireless networks.

If for some reason, Wireless Network Watcher fails to locate and scan your network, you can try to manually choosing the correct network adapter from Advanced Options.

Wireless Network Watcher works on Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Server 2003/2008, Windows Vista, and Windows 7.
