Backup Your Facebook Profile and Photos with SOS Social Backup

SOS Social Backup is a new cloud-based backup service from SOS Online Backup in the form of a Facebook app called SOS Social Backup that allows Facebook users to backup their data from Facebook which includes wall posts, messages, your friends list, uploaded videos and photo albums. Users can choose what data to backup, and the app will dutifully backup the chosen data to the cloud every few days. SOS Social Backup competes against Backupify, which debuted almost a year ago. But unlike Backupify, SOS Social Backup is free with 5 GB worth of free disk space.

Once the app has started backing up your Facebook data, a full history of the data appears on the application’s dashboard. You can also restore these data back to your Facebook profile, allowing you to restore your profile to any of the saved dates or times. You can go back and look at what your Facebook profile looked like at any backup point. You can also export all data into a second Facebook account. Users of SOS Social Backup can also convert friends’ information into .vcf Outlook contact files.

SOS Social Backup is only one component of the newest version of the company’s backup software which supports multiple platforms including PCs, Macs, and iOS (Apple iPhone and iPad) and Android devices.

So, here is how you can do that.
