3-Month Long Free Accounts of SailfishVPN

Warning: Based on their failure to deliver on promises, I suggest all people looking to signup for Sailfish VPN to look elsewhere. Here are some good alternatives: Hostizzle, Cyberghost, HideIPVPN.

Last year we gave away a couple of accounts for SailfishVPN, a relatively new US based VPN service provider. We are back with another round of giveaway. This time Nickle from SailfishVPN has graciously provided us with 50 accounts which will remain active for three months, starting from the day you register. If you are interested in getting one, read along.

Sailfish VPN has servers located in the United States. Connection to the servers are made through PPTP and L2TP. Although these are weaker protocols, security wise, they should suffice for normal surfing and typical VPN usage such as unblocking Hulu, Pandora and other services. SailfishVPN imposes no bandwidth restriction and speeds are good enough for fast video streaming.

So if would like to have free three month access to Hulu or Pandora, just drop your name and email in the form below. The giveaway will close on September 7, 2011.

The task manager is ideal for real-time analysis of CPU and memory utilization. It even displays a short history of CPU utilization in the form of a graph. You get a small time-window, about 30 seconds or so, depending on how large the viewing area is.

How to Schedule Changes to Your Facebook Page Cover Photo

Facebook’s current layout, the so called Timeline, features a prominent, large cover photo that some people are using in a lot of different creative ways. Timeline is also available for Facebook Pages that people can use to promote their website or business or event. Although you can change the cover photo as often as you like, it’s meant to be static – something which you design and leave it for at least a few weeks or months like a redesigned website. However, there are times when you may want to change the cover photo frequently and periodically to match event dates or some special promotion that you are running or plan to run. So, here is how you can do that.
