TaskUnifier is a free task management software for Windows based on the well known Getting-Thing-Done principle that also syncs to the cloud based task management service Toodledo, thereby allowing you to access your Toodledo account from your desktop.
TaskUnifier is just like any to-do list based programs. You create a list of tasks that demands your attention and assign priority, due date, tags and notes to it. Tasks that are marked important move up the list so as to remain always visible. Less important tasks are queued behind. Once a task is completed, you mark then as done and they are removed from the list.
Apart from those basic functions, TaskUnifier includes a number of task management features such as task grouping into folders and tags, assigning sub-tasks, goals and context.
You can use TaskUnifier with or without Toodledo synchronization. If you are already using another online task management service such as Remember The Milk, you can consider switching to Toodledo, because it has more features than Remember The Milk.

For my tasks and my projects a use Teambox, a project software that is open source and integrates online collaboration and productivity tools for project management. I like it because allowed me to see my and my colleagues tasks and projects inside a real conversation. I suggest you to take a look, it has really cool features two! https://teambox.com/
ReplyDeleteIf you’d like a tool for managing your time and projects, you can use this web-application inspired by David Allen’s GTD:

You can use it to manage and prioritize your goals, projects and tasks, set next actions and contexts, use checklists, schedules and a calendar.
Syncs with Evernote and Google Calendar, and also comes with mobile version, and Android and iPhone apps.
It's all very well that TaskUnifier supports subtasks - but Toodledo does not. So all that goodness is lost. So, no point to TaskUnifier.
ReplyDeleteHowever, if there were an android app, that could be sync'ed via dropbox.
Or if TaskUnifier would sync with gtasks.
Without gtasks, and an Android version, sadly, despite the cross-platform goodness of TaskUnifier, I can't use it.

Toodledo does support subtasks. It's a paid option.
